Funeral Celebrant
Saying goodbye to a loved one is never easy, but it is a deeply important moment. A funeral or memorial ceremony offers the opportunity to honour a life, share a story, and find a way to say: you were loved, you mattered, and you will always be remembered. In the midst of grief, it can also be an important step in healing.
As a celebrant, I offer person-led funeral and memorial ceremonies that are shaped with care, warmth, and compassion. Whether you would like a quiet and simple farewell, a traditional service, or something more personal and reflective, I will guide you and your loved ones in creating a ceremony that feels right. Together, we can tell their story in a way that captures who they were and what they meant to those around them.
These ceremonies can take place in any location that holds meaning — from crematoriums and gravesides to gardens, family homes, beaches, woodlands, or other special places — and at a time that suits your needs, whether soon after a loss or at a later memorial gathering. The most important thing is creating a meaningful farewell that gives space for remembrance, love, and reflection.
I have significant experience working with trauma and in trauma informed care. I am trained and highly experienced in motivational interviewing, grief coaching and supporting mental health and wellbeing. I have additional training and and lengthy experience working with children experiencing loss, grief and trauma. I am coming from a place of great skill and care, and can support families every step of the way through the hardest times.
